Doping control in major games

In a society that always requires a maximum of efficiency and where champions are glorified and used for marketing purposes, it is extremely important to set up ethical limits, particularly when the subject is drugs and sport, where some may athletes try at any cost to reach the victory and, through it, success and financial benefits. It is important to understand that doping control and doping problems are very dynamic subjects and it is the responsibility of Sports Medicine professionals to be always well informed and update, and also to supervise and educate the multi-disciplinary team to assist the athlete in his preparation for international competitions.
