Imaging in Thalassaemia

Thalassaemia is the most important haemoglobinopathy in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. In this review, the role of ultrasound in prenatal imaging of affected foetuses and the value of radiography and magnetic resonance imaging in the evaluation and management of thalassaemia are discussed.
