1. To promote the interest in and the development of Nuclear Medicine as a specialty in Hong Kong;
   
   
2. To promote the exchange of medical and scientific knowledge or information related to Nuclear Medicine;
   
   
3. To endeavor to improve the quality of Nuclear Medicine practice in Hong Kong and hence to promote better medial and health care to the community;
   
   
4. To provide liaison and friendship with workers in Nuclear Medicine in Hong Kong and other parts of the world;
   
   
5. To promote and assist in basic or clinical research in Nuclear Medicine and its allied disciplines;
   
   
6. To promote and develop Nuclear Medicine specialty training, specialty certification, local accreditation and international recognition for medical practitioners, scientists and radiographers practicing Nuclear Medicine in Hong Kong.
   
   
7. To promote an honorable and ethical Nuclear Medicine practice in Hong Kong; and
   
   
8. To promote and strengthen the advancement of Nuclear Medicine in China.
