Annual Scientific Conference: started from 1979, the society has successfully organized 19 annual scientific conferences. In 2000, the 20th annual conference is scheduled on 7th to 10th of December, 2000 at the University of Hong Kong. This event will be held in conjunction with FAONS Symposium 2000 and IBRO School of Brain Functions. Please refer to our up-coming events page for information. The abstracts of the conferences have been published regularly as supplements to the Neuroscience Letters since 1983.

Seminars: seminars are frequently organized in all universities to invite neuroscientists from China and overseas.

Public lectures: in collaboration with the Urban Council and the Hong Kong Brain Foundation, the society has organized public lectures on brain function and problems for Hong Kong citizens.

Updates for Secondary School Biology Teachers: every year in collaboration with the Hong Kong Education Department the Society organized talks about recent developments in basic neuroscience for the teachers.
