H. M. LUI Memorial Fund

The Hong Kong College of Paediatricians established the H. M. LUI Memorial Fund in Year 2001 to promote postgraduate study and research in liver diseases and related disciplines in children.

Applications are invited for the H.M. LUI Fellowship, which will be awarded annually to those who are able to meet the following minimum criteria:

THE H. M. LUI FELLOWSHIP

The H. M. LUI Fellowship will be awarded to paediatricians (or medical graduates) of ethnic Chinese origin aged below 40 years, including but not exclusive of the residents of Hong Kong SAR and of the Mainland of China, for education, training and research in the United Kingdom in paediatric liver diseases or gastroenterology in Year 2005-2006.

The award of the Fellowship will consist of:
1. An air passage by the most economical route.
2. Monthly allowance of HK$10,000.
3. Reimbursement of course fees and books up to HK$6,000.

The award of the Fellowship shall be for a period of six months. Application must be made by nomination by the Head of the Department of Paediatrics or Hospital Chief Executive. The deadline of application is 30th September, 2005.
